Allotments for Schools

Allotments for Schools started as a vague idea, as most projects do. My career has focussed on education, and I believe if we can get primary education right we will help negate many of the challenges faced as our young people grow and develop. I am also passionate about our natural environment and the importance of the next generation understanding how they can impact change.

By combining education and nature, my aim is to help young people learn about food production and the environmental factors that impact the growing of food. In my experience children love nothing more than getting outside, getting their hands dirty and watching something they have planted grow. I want to help make this happen as part of the current curriculum.
